The Strathnairn Arts Small Sculpture Prize (SASS) is a national award that celebrates creativity and innovation in small-scale sculpture. Supported by Ginninderry and artsACT, the prize is open to artists of all levels, from emerging practitioners to established professionals. With a prize pool of $14,000, SASS provides an exciting platform for artists to push boundaries, experiment with materials, and share their work with a wider audience.

The finalist exhibition features sculpture created by artists from across Australia selected by an expert judging panel Wendy Teakel, Tom Gray and Amanda Stuart.

Finalists are selected will have their work showcased in a dedicated exhibition at Strathnairn Arts’ Woolshed Gallery, set against the beautiful backdrop of the Brindabella Mountains. Designed to foster artistic growth and spark meaningful conversations, the Small Sculpture Prize highlights the diversity and vibrancy of contemporary Australian sculpture.
