Delicate Delights is a culmination of several years of quiet contemplation and photography in isolation. Over the last few years everyone has had a rough time with Covid, lockdowns and self-isolation. In the absence of gatherings, BBQs and tea parties with friends and family, anxiety and depression touched many lives. Many artists turned inward for our creative ideas, but to stave off mental health issues, Yasmin turned to her pets and nature, and found quiet inspiration in her cats as well as the inquisitive birds, colourful flowers and gardens around her home. As restrictions eased, Yasmin continued to explore the diverse flora and fauna at the botanical gardens and in friends’ gardens. These stunning images are just a few of the lovely pieces that Yasmin produced during the last few years.
