A Splash of Ash brings together the Strathnairn Arts Wood Fire Group (SAWFG) — a community of full-time artists, part-time potters, and ceramicists who share a passion for the elemental process of woodfiring. Each piece in the exhibition has been shaped by flame, ash, and time in the Strathnairn groundhog kiln, revealing the unique textures, tones, and surfaces that only fire can create.

Showcasing both functional and sculptural works, this exhibition celebrates the diversity, collaboration, and craftsmanship at the heart of Strathnairn’s woodfiring community.
