- John Lethbridge - Creative drawing workshop
- John Lethbridge is a professional artist and was a founding academic of Sydney College of the Arts, Sydney University where he worked for twenty years. SCA is one of the four top art colleges in the world.
- For the last ten years he has concentrated his own research into the psychological origins of the creative impulse and has developed a unique method of teaching his understanding through the medium of creative drawing.
- This introductory weekend drawing intensive consists of four sessions and will explore
- Sensitivity of mark marking and materials
- Figure/ground relationships
- Scale and spatial dynamics.
- Representational and symbolic approaches to subject matter.
- Parallel to these material and subject explorations will be an understanding on how the uniqueness of the creative process works for you. This workshop is open to all artists who would like a fresh examination of their art process as well as non artists wanting a kick start into the power of the creative process.
- $150 for the weekend. 9:00am - 5:00 pm Saturday and Sunday. Materials supplied. BYO lunch.
