Open studios – our nineteen studio holders will display their work, demonstrate techniques and have work for sale. Art practices will include sculpture, textiles, printmaking, painting, ceramics, mixed media and installations.
Our annual Members’ exhibition will be opened at 11:30am by Joy Burch MLA, Minister of the Arts
The Big Draw – As part of the Big Draw 2014, we will be setting up life modelling and still life drawing opportunities in the Woolshed with Sue Taylor and Carole Fitzpatrick as your instructors. We will also have drawing stations around the property (weather permitting) with Drawing Tours. Bring your drawing kit with you for a day of mark making!
Members stalls – Strathnairn members will be selling and displaying their work in the Village Hall including handcrafted jewelry, cards, wall art, porcelain nericomi work, silk paintings, prints, scarves, paintings, and basketry.

Bronze pour and displays in the Foundry between 11am – 1 pm, with cast works on display in the Prep Room.
Soup and bowl – buy a bowl of homemade soup and take home the ceramic bowl, handmade at Strathnairn Arts. Only $15 a bowl.
Gourmet sausage sizzle and picnic packs from the Strathnairn Homestead Cafe
Community group displays and activities – Horse training demonstrations by Pegasus ACT Riding for the Disabled at 10am and 12pm + basic kite making with BAC + information stall on the West Belconnen development provided by the Riverview Group.
